Bangladeshi Nationals
Vacancies are usually advertised in national and or local newspapers, online, and on the LAMB googlemybusiness page. All long term posts listed for international volunteers at LAMB are also open to Bangladeshis.

Short-Term International Volunteers
Anything from 6 weeks to 1 year, although shorter periods are possible for skilled short-term volunteers. We welcome people with a wide range of skills and expertise. There are some training/ elective opportunities in the hospital.

Long-Term International Volunteers 
Longer than 1 year. It is a requirement that long-term international volunteers are Christian. In general, volunteers are self-supporting, and funds to cover salary and living allowances are handled according to Bangladesh requirements. No volunteer receives any income from LAMB patients, students or trainees. All international volunteer vacancies are subject to visas, work permits and any other legislation implemented by the Government of Bangladesh.
