LAMB Hospital

The 100 bed hospital has a team of approximately 240 staff, mainly Bangladeshi with a small number of long-term international volunteers and visiting doctors working across Inpatient Departments (IPD) and Outpatient Departments (OPD). There are more than 28 doctors providing full emergency care 24/7.

All staff are committed to caring for the whole health and wellbeing of patients. The hospital gives diagnostic and acute and chronic care services as well as social, spiritual and financial support where patients cannot afford treatment.

A special feature of LAMB is providing a continuity of care from village health work and community clinics to the hospital. Working with communities helps to overcome cultural barriers and fears associated with hospital treatment. It also makes identifying people who need higher level care easier. And makes delivering appropriate and accessible health care possible.

LAMB Hospital shares LAMB's focus of treating the poorest of the poor, with an emphasis on reaching women and children. And a strong desire to serve in the Spirit and name of Jesus.
