WHY SUPPORT LAMB ?
Reasons for which we hope that you will support LAMB include:
- LAMB works for those least able to care for themselves, Two thirds of LAMB in-patients need and receive subsidies for their bills. One-fifth pay nothing at all, because they have nothing
- LAMB works in one of the poorest areas of Bangladesh, itself one of the poorest countries in the world
- LAMB tries very hard to be self-sufficient, not dependent on donations. LAMB covers about 80% of its operating costs through earned income
- LAMB is well run, and with integrity. We are audited both nationally and by overseas organizations.
- LAMB does not spend money on luxuries. We aim for proper quality, but not for show.
- LAMB is a Christian organization, and operates to Christian values, and yet we share many of these values with others, to the common benefit of the community
